TENTH KNOWS
My non refined post middle age life plan: own a house where there are hardly any people and own a garden and walk my two dogs in the woods every morning and then come inside and eat fresh food from my own land.

Half of the stuff you do/say to people who you are “talking to” is done out of spite. The other half is done out of genuine interest.
Further evidence that the game is fucked up.
Imbalance, to say the least.
spite is contagious.
just like spite being contagious, love is too.

Holmgren’s 12 design principles
The core of permaculture has always been in supplying a design toolkit for human habitation. This toolkit helps the designer to model a final design based on an observation of howecosystems interact.
- Observe and interact: By taking time to engage with nature we can design solutions that suit our particular situation.
- Catch and store energy: By developing systems that collect resources at peak abundance, we can use them in times of need.
- Obtain a yield: Ensure that you are getting truly useful rewards as part of the work that you are doing.
- Apply self-regulation and accept feedback: We need to discourage inappropriate activity to ensure that systems can continue to function well.
- Use and value renewable resources and services: Make the best use of nature’s abundance to reduce our consumptive behavior and dependence on non-renewable resources.
- Produce no waste: By valuing and making use of all the resources that are available to us, nothing goes to waste.
- Design from patterns to details: By stepping back, we can observe patterns in nature and society. These can form the backbone of our designs, with the details filled in as we go.
- Integrate rather than segregate: By putting the right things in the right place, relationships develop between those things and they work together to support each other.
- Use small and slow solutions: Small and slow systems are easier to maintain than big ones, making better use of local resources and producing more sustainable outcomes.
- Use and value diversity: Diversity reduces vulnerability to a variety of threats and takes advantage of the unique nature of the environment in which it resides.
- Use edges and value the marginal: The interface between things is where the most interesting events take place. These are often the most valuable, diverse and productive elements in the system.
- Creatively use and respond to change: We can have a positive impact on inevitable change by carefully observing, and then intervening at the right time.[13]

When somebody won’t
It’s always funny how when you’re waiting around for somebody who doesn’t really appreciate your time, there’s somebody else right there ready to kick it and enjoy your company.

It really hurts me to think about all of my brothers that are incarcerated. It hurts me because I know them. I know that they do not deserve to be idly sitting somewhere- watching time go by. What hurts even more is that we all came up the same way. It was just a series of bad decisions that led them down the other path in the fork in the road. I guess what i really mean to say is; It could have been me.
Sitting here thinking about them and how it could have been me is very humbling. I realize now that I really am blessed, I really am thankful. I take for granted my freedom. I often complain about going to school. About how I hate it and how its a waste of my time, when in contrast I could be sitting in a cell literally wasting time.
I really need to live life to the fullest. Not only for myself, but for my family.
My word is my bond and I’m trying to strengthen that bond.
Love yall.
(solidarity to all my brothers who have brothers locked up/ are victims to the system)
